Dr. Woolard:
Many times I search the web looking for ideas to improve our PE program and today I
stumbled upon your site. I must say it is OUTSTANDING! It has taken me quite a
long time to look at most of the information you have on your site. Your students
are fortunate to have someone so in tune to what is happening in today's physical
education programs.
I am the PE Department Chair in Titusville, PA. Our program is featured in the
Newsweek article, "Getting
Physical," which you have on your PE in the News
section. It is my experience that the colleges and universities that offer physical
education as a major are woefully lacking in preparing future teachers in the latest
methods of using technology as well as teaching what is pertinent to today's kids.
You are to be commended for what you are doing.
Thank you so much for all you are doing and I hope you will allow me to have my colleagues
refer to your web site as a source of information to help us as we continue to improve our
PE program.
Yours in better fitness,
Tim McCord

Dr. Woolard:
I was talking to Tim McCord yesterday and he told me about your website. I am very
impressed. You sure have put a large amount of time and effort into your site. I marked it
as a favorite for future use.
Sorry, I guess I should have started by introducing myself. I am Phil Lawler, from
Naperville, Illinois. I work at the PE4LIFE institute. Just looking at your website, your
students majoring in PE are getting some great information about our profession.
If I can ever be of any help, just let me know. I have been doing some exciting networking
around the nation the last few years. We had 30 schools visit our school in two months
last year. Schools all over the nation have been visiting the PE4LIFE Institute. We have
actually had schools visit from China, Mexico, and the Phillipines.
I am sure you are familiar with the PE4LIFE website (pe4life.org) but I will also share
with you my junior high website. Our site is nothing special but a few of the articles
written about our program are on the site.

Keep up the good work,
